Client files stay in the office.
01Confidentiality by design
02Works on your files
03Local setup and support
Who it's forSolo practitioners, small firms, and the staff who keep them running.
Why firms are moving work in-house
Public chat tools aren't privileged.
01 / PrivilegeCourts are drawing the line.
In United States v. Heppner (S.D.N.Y. 2026), a federal court held that a defendant's exchanges with a public AI tool were not protected by attorney-client privilege or the work-product doctrine. A system your firm controls keeps that material inside your walls.
Talk it through ↗02 / DutyConfidentiality stays yours.
ABA Formal Opinion 512 asks lawyers to understand how an AI tool handles client information before using it. With a local system the answer is simple: the data stays on your hardware, and nobody outside the firm can read it.
Common questions ↗03 / ControlAccess follows the matter.
Connect the assistant to the document stores you choose. Staff see only the files they already have access to, and ethical walls carry over.
How we set it up ↗What it helps with
Hours back from the paper work.
Start with the tasks that eat staff time every week. The assistant does the first pass; your attorneys review and sign off.
01Deposition and record summaries
Condense transcripts, medical records, and productions into timelines with page cites.
02Drafts from your templates
First drafts of routine letters, discovery requests, and engagement letters in your firm's own style.
03Search your own precedent
Ask questions across past briefs, memos, and forms instead of digging through folders.
04Contract review checklists
Flag missing clauses, unusual terms, and deviations from your standard positions.
05Intake summaries
Turn intake calls and emails into a clean fact summary and conflicts-check list.
06Cleaner time entries
Tidy rough notes into consistent billing narratives before invoices go out.
How it works
Set up once, looked after.
We don't host your data. We install the system in your office, teach your team to use it, and stay on call.
- 01
A short discovery call
We learn which documents and tasks matter most and where your files live today.
- 02
Install and connect
We supply and configure the hardware, connect your document stores, and set access by role.
- 03
Train and support
Hands-on training for attorneys and staff, then ongoing support and model updates.
Common questions
Before you ask us.
Does client data leave the office?
No. The models run on hardware your firm owns, on your network. Prompts and documents are not sent to an outside AI provider.
Do we need an IT department?
No. We install the system, train your staff, and stay on call for support. If you have an IT provider, we work with them.
Can it search our own documents?
Yes. We connect it to the folders and document stores you choose, with access limited to the people who should see them.
Is it as capable as the big public tools?
For everyday firm work such as summarizing, drafting from templates, and searching your own files, current open models are strong. We size the hardware to the work you need done.
